On the occasion of Earth Day 2016, Urban Vision has launched the photo contest “The Eearth: a treasure to safeguard”, open to professionals and simple amateurs, that has seen the participation of over eight hundred photos sent from all over Italy, and seven thousand users involved on Facebook event page.
The finalist images were judged by a panel of experts chaired by Oliviero Toscani and the winner was honored at the MAXXI Museum in Rome by the actress and director Valeria Golino. The winner got a cash prize and the publication of the photos on two billboards in the center of Rome and Milan. Urban Vision, on the occasion of the competition, has entirely created an Internet site dedicated to the initiative, which was conveyed by two promotional videos and obtained a huge chord with all major national newspapers.
