Urban Vision loves Rolling Stone: publishing debut at the Sanremo music Festival.
Urban Vision Group marks its entry into the publishing world with an exclusive event during the Sanremo Festival.
An article from Archeomatica summarises the state of the european PRESIOUS project (Predictive digitization, restoration and degradation assessment of cultural heritage objects), with the economical support of the European Union and involving Norway, Germany and Greece since February 2013 . The project intent is to develop technologies for the 3D digitalization of the artistic heritage, including predictive reconstruction technology.
PRESIOUS will supply “innovative solutions for 3D digitalization process efficiency and monuments’ stones decay assessments, making it possible to reconstruct an object starting from several fragments that may be deteriorated, lost or incomplete.”
The objective is to develop efficient methods to enhance the digitalized data in order to predict decay process and to match forms for 3D objects.
Moreover this will “enhance the quality and at the same time reduce the effort, the costs and the timing relating to 3D digitalization through a radical change in the process of digitalization”
