On the giant screens of the media company, exclusive content featuring the faces and stories of the 68th edition of the David di Donatello Awards is being showcased. Urban Vision, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, David di Donatello, Rai, and Cinecittà, brings the stars of the prestigious Italian film award to some of Italy’s most beautiful squares, bringing it closer to the public.

Airing on Urban Vision’s digital circuits, an immersive narrative rich in exclusive content is dedicated to the event that has marked the history of Italian cinema. The programming will accompany audiences in the cities of Rome, Milan, and Catania day by day, leading up to the awards ceremony. The partnership between Urban Vision, the Ministry of Culture, David di Donatello, Rai, and Cinecittà aims to further connect Italian cinema with a young, dynamic, urban audience, following the successful communication model—garnering over 40 million views—tested during the 2023 Sanremo Festival.

Through a series of exclusive content and the faces of actors and crew displayed on Urban Vision’s digital out-of-home screens, the shortlist of winners will be presented, interspersed with features, curiosities, and special projects. “We are proud to stand alongside the Ministry of Culture, David di Donatello, Rai, and Cinecittà. Thanks to this new synergy, utilizing our large digital screens, cinema becomes an integral part of everyday urban life, revealing its beauty to millions of people,” commented Gianluca De Marchi, CEO of Urban Vision. “The decision to use our digital circuits as a new communication tool to narrate an event that for 68 editions has celebrated the value and authenticity of Italian cinema once again confirms the value of our work. Our mission is to restore culture and identity to cities and their inhabitants through innovative, high-tech tools. My thanks also go to Alice nella Città for coordinating the project.”
